I have very little information but perhaps this will help. Floyd Earl Garrett was probably born in or near 1882 and I do know he was born in Illinois. His son, Richard Floyd Garrett was born 23 August 1916 in Batavia. He also had an older daughter, Maxine who probably was born in 1909. Floyd Earl Garrett worked for the railroad when he lived in Batavia. He moved to Denver, Co. in 1919. Floyd's wife, Mae (Porter) Garrett was born 9 July 1892.
