A specific reply has been made via email consisting of a 1985 John Doughty family group sheet compiled by Verda Baird in January 1985 (with certain updates since then), a copy of the 1872 will transcription for James Sanford Doughty (a/k/a James L Doughty, for some unknown reason), and a page from the 77 cemeteries listing by Verda Baird showing burial (or lack of information about) information on several Doughty family members that are relevant.

These three items appear to be most relevant to the questions posed in the query. These materials were found in the genealogy section of the Fairfield Public Library. Other sources of information not in those files are possible, but if so it would be nice to have that information provided to the genealogy collection at the library so others may benefit. Having and not sharing family infomation keeps others in the dark when exploring their family lineages and prevents this contributor from making more comprehensive replies to queries.
