This is information I can provide on the Harris
connections.....first letter I answered here was
in l979 from lady born 1918, now deceased who
by then the DAR had put a stop to those trying to
get in on Samuel Harris.

Nancy Ann Harris 9 Feb 1811 - 16 Jul l874

buried in Jefferson Co Iowa in Antioch Cem.

beside her husband Wm Greyer Coop

Her parents:

Samuel Merida Harris 1 Sep l779

d. 19 Jan l849 Union Cemetery

Jefferson Co Ia. 2 miles north of

Verda's farm

wife was Elizabeth Witt or Whitson who

died before 8 Nov 1819 when he married in

Rowan Co TN to Margaret McVey

Samuel's parents: John & Nancy Flippin Harris

per old correspondence of Jan 1981 a whole

30 years ago.
