There won't be any official death record found for anyone in 1868 because such vital records were not begun to be kept/mandated in Iowa until 1880.

As to a copy of the will, assuming that there is one in the probate file I can take a look, but because of the time involved there would be a small charge that I would need to establish, since probate searches are done on my own time. If you want me to proceed, contact me via my email address and I'll let you know the fees for searches and copies. //Richard
