Charles Negus

Charles Negus was the father of Mary Negus who married a Red Oak man, Thomas Griffith. She was from Fairfield and married in 1880. I would like to know more about her and her ancestors. Her father is said to have been an Iowa judge but I find nothing about them on the Jefferson GEN WEB page.
