Samuel Merida Harris b 1 Sept l779 VA
died l9 Jan l849 Jefferson County Iowa
Union Cemetery. Stone says l850, which is off
by one year because administrator of the estate
was appointed Feb l849.

Last person I helped thought he was the son of
John Harris and wife Nancy Flippin, I assume was taken from someones DAR papers.

Our address is still the same, and the offer
to make copies remains the same as quoted, and
we still live on the same farm, just getting
older !! verda
