Robert Moffett and his wife Asanath (Asenia)
moved to Iowa in 1852, settling in the Clay area.

We believe that they both must have died prior to 1856 as they are not on the census as of that date.

I would like to find out their dates of death and where they are buried.(Possibly Howard Grove Cemetery, Clay Cemetery, or perhaps Richland or Brighton, Rubio, Pleasant Plain, etc.)Their daughter Sussannah and husband Thomas E. Brown are buried at the Howard Grove Cemetery.

Do not know for sure if they lived in Jefferson, Washington, or Keokuk County, as this area between Richland and Brighton could be any of the three.
Information is probably scarce since they apparently lived for such a short time upon arrival into the area.
