Family History

KRUMM, FICHTNER, SNAKENBERG, WEIBLEY

I'm looking for any records of my great grandmother's family. She was born Louisa Krumm in Jefferson County March 20, 1842. Her parents were Jacob Krumm and Dorothy Fitchner Krumm who were married in Columbus Ohio. Jacob Krumm came to this country from Germany at age 18. Louisa Krumm married first, Oct 11 1860, Rev. John Snakenberg of the German Methodist Episcopal Church. They probably were married in Jefferson County. They had two girls: Mary (Maria)S. Besser, and Emma Heppe (whose husband was also a Rev.) John Snakenberg died in 1865 and is buried in Jefferson County.(where?)

Louisa moved back to Jefferson County to live with her parents. On June 25, 1867 she married Christopher Weibley, a miller at Merrimac, Jefferson County one year; Lanchaster one year; farmed eight years in Jefferson County before moving to Keokuk County. They had seven children, four boys, three girls. Only three boys survived, one of which was my grandfather.

Louisa died in Burlington, and was buried outside of Sigourney.

I am looking for any information that would help tell her parent's story.
