Thank you for responding to my query, Verda. I am sending for your research flyer. I believe you request that a sase be enclosed with the request.

Other information I have on Calvin and Sarah: Calvin was born in Ohio in 1820, Sarah in Kentucky. He appears in the 1850 Census of Yolo County, California. This is where their third child, Susannah, my gggrandmother, was born in 1851. Calvin died in 1862 in California. Later Sarah is found in Washington State living with her youngest son, John Jefferson, and is on the 1880 census as head of household. It states she is 54 years old and was born in 1826.

Calvin and Sarah evidently traveled to California by way of Missouri as their oldest son, Andrew, was born there in 1845.(I do wonder if there is a family connection to the Andrew in your records).
I was hoping that the marriage information might give a clue to Sarah's parents since she seems to appear from nowhere! Thanks again for your response.
