As corresp secy for Jefferson County, Iowa. I wonder how old Calvin is in the l850 census, same as Sarah. If you look at our map site for our county, they must have lived in Walnut or Lockridge townships as that is where the Rev. Jacob Spainhower who married them is a resident.
They are gone from this county by l850 census to where? I wonder if she is a sister to any of these three who paid taxes in l843: Abraham, Andrew, Jonathan, Thomas or William L. Jonathan was born in l809 and died in Perry Missouri. Cannot tell you anything about the others. Send for my research flyer: Verda Baird 2791 240th St Fairfield Ia. 52556 county snoop for 26 yrs.
