LAEMMLE DEATH RECORDS 1904

I am writing with a death lookup request. I have finally discovered a date and possible location where my great-grandparents died tragically
in a house fire. My discovery was in a 7 April 1904 Gardner, Kansas newspaper article about my grandfather Frank Lamle stating the following:

"Frank Lamle received the sad news Thursday that his father and motherwere dead. He left for their home in Iowa Thursday and returned Monday
evening. The house in which they lived was burned and the bodies badly charred but it is believed they were murdered before the house was burned"

I have spent over two years looking for a lead on this death since there is a family story that they perished in a fire. The last I could find
on these victims was a 1900 census in Paola, Kansas. Extensive research in Paola found nothing on them.

QUESTION:
Could you check your records/books to see if this event possibly occurred in Jefferson County, Walnut Twp on or about March 29-31 1904.
The funeral was likely Saturday, 2 April 1904. My guess is they had moved back to Iowa to be near their daughter who lived outside Brighton,
Iowa in Walnut Twp in both the 1900 and 1905 census.

My great-grandparents who perished in the fire were:

*Christian M. LAMLE b. 25 Dec 1834 Leutenbach, Germany

*Barbara A. (Easley) LAMLE b. 20 Oct 1833 Grafenried, Switzerland

married: 22 Oct 1862 Bucyrus, Ohio

They had lived in Iowa during the 1880 census: Henry Co, Scott Twp, outside Winfield.

Later they moved to Olathe, Johnson Co, Kansas around 1890.

NOTE: Their surname is often misspelled - LEMLE, LAMLY, etc

Original German spelling was LAEMMLE on his naturalization papers

Their youngest daughter living in Jefferson Co, Walnut Twp, Iowa in 1904
was:

Rosa Viola (Lamle) SNIDER b. 9 Apr 1874 Illinois d. 9 May
1950 Jefferson Co.

husband: Harry Owen SNIDER b. 20 Oct 1871 Washington Co,
Marion Twp, Iowa

married: 17 Sep 1893 Olathe, Kansas

This couple farmed in Washington Co, then Jefferson Co near Brighton
until after 1905

when they moved permanently to Appanoose Co where they are buried in
Cincinnati, Iowa.

Harry SNIDER had lots of family in northern Jefferson and southern
Washington counties.

I am writing a book on my maternal LAMLE ancestors and the details of
this tragic death have eluded me. I have a formal portrait of Rosa
Viola and her two brothers, Frank and Herman LAMLE which I assume was
taken during their parents funeral since they all lived miles apart by
1900.

Any help you might render would be most appreciated. I am willing to
pay for your research and any other expenses - this is a big item for
me! I'm happy to send a SASE, or whatever. If you wish to pass this to
request to Verda Baird for research that would be fine.
