Hello: I am the corresp. secy for Jefferson Co Iowa Genie Society. The William Coop statue had problems with the bronzing and has been sent off both the man and boy to some place out of town and may be sometime before they are back on the park bench.

I thought in researching for others that Robert Dawes and wife Sarah went to Austrailia or New Zealand after marriage Am I correct. So anxious to learn more about them. Instead of writing me back on my own e.mail, it is so full of 70 junks a day, write it here on IAGENWEB Jeff Co page where I am putting yours now. Have lots of stuff to share and also addresses of others who were here for the big Coop Reunion 2 yrs ago out at the Antioch Church and grave yard.
