Looking for bio info on William Greyer Coop. Listed in 1836 Iowa Territorial Census- "Demoine" county. Married Nancy Harris, daughter: Sarah. Sarah married Robert Lee Dawes, son: Charles Gates Dawes; my grandfather. Want to soon visit the Central Park statue of William Coop and find biographical info/resources; maybe genealogical research later. Thank you.
