Wow! Thanks for the great information-- I guess I was locked too rigidly that her maiden name was Nichols. All I truly knew before this was that she was the mother of my gg-grandfather, Charles Andrew Lee. That, and she was called 'granny evans'. My grandfather remembered her and that she died when he was four.

I live in England, but my aunt is planning on visiting Fairfield very soon-- I'll give her a shopping list of info to dig up when she comes to town.
