Anna SHEPARD, daughter of the deceased L.S. and Harriet Ann SHEPHERD, Bladensburg, Iowa, died at the family home Sat., May 22, 1926. Born in Madison County, Ill., Dec. 26, 1867.

The family moved to Iowa in 1869 and made their home on a large farm near Bladensburg where she spent her entire life. Member Methodist Church.

She is the first of four sisters and three brothers to be gathered into the father's fold. Surviving are Emma PAYNE, Mrs. W. W. STERNER and Mrs. Lee PARKER of Batavia, and Mrs. J. F. PARKER of Des Moines, Henry PAYNE of Ottumwa, J. W. PAYNE of Cherokee, Kan., J.A. PAYNE of Kansas City, Mo.... Batavia Cemetery.
