Erastus SHEPHERD, 72, Batavia Cemetery. Died at the county home infirmary of Wapello County Jan. 6, 1918. Remains shipped to Batavia Wed. noon. Aged 72 y.

Born Conn. In 1890 came to Iowa and for several years made his home with his brother the late L. S. SHEPHERD n.w. of Batavia. Leaves three nieces, Mrs. Lee PARKER, Bladensburg, Miss Anna SHEPHERD of R.1, and Mrs. John PARKER of Des Moines.
