Mrs. Lewis W. SHAW. Anna M. BROWN was born in Guernsey Co., Ohio, May 24, 1846, died Apr. 21 at her home in Batavia, Iowa, age 70-10-27.

Moved with her parents from Ohio when about 10 years old, coming to Keokuk, Iowa, by boat and from there to Wapello County. Married Nov. 22, 1868. Four children, Nellie, Mary, Ella, and Will, all of whom except the youngest daughter, Mrs. Ella NOE, have preceded her in death. Member Methodist Church of Batavia.

Leaves aged husband, one daughter, Mrs. Ella NOE of Melrose, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie FERRIS of Talmage, Iowa, and Mrs. Alice CLARK of Batavia; three brothers, Charles BROWN of Clarinda, Will BROWN of Creston, Iowa, and Frank BROWN of Ft. Worth, Texas, and 11 grandchildren... Batavia Cem.
