Death of infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley SAMPSON of Ottumwa, last Friday. Diphtheria. The child was 22 months old. The body was brought here in a carriage and buried Saturday morning.

Burial Permit at City Hall; Frederick SAMPSON, age 2y. 2m., male, white, died South Ottumwa Sept. 11, 1896; Diptheria (sic); Dr. J. Fred Clarke; Held & Kerrick, Undertakers.
