Word has been received here of the death of Walter McLANE, former resident of Fairfield who died Sept. 29 at Riverside, Calif. Son of John McLANE who operated a creamery and dairy in Fairfield for many years.

Survived by his wife, Frances; one sister, Mable McLANE GRAHAM, Seattle, Wash.; a brother, John McLANE, also of Seattle; and a half-brother, Clifford McLANE, Tucson, Ariz. Funeral services and burial took place in Riverside.
