BATAVIA. John H. McLANE, native of Batavia, died Apr. 4 in Seattle, Wash., bur. there Apr. 7.

Born Aug. 4, 1888, at Batavia. He moved to Fairfield at age 4 with his parents. His father operated a creamery in Fairfield for a number of years. Grad. FHS in 1906 and moved to Seattle in 1910.

Survived by widow, Lucile; two sons, Thomas and Raymond; one daughter, Marily, all of Seattle; four grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Mabel GRAHM, Seattle; and a half-brother, Clifford, Tucson, Ariz.
