Mrs. Mary Emma HOCKING, wife of T. J. HOCKING of Batavia, died last night at Ottumwa Hospital. Bur. Batavia.

73 years of age and practically all of her life has been spent in the Batavia community. Survived by husband and two children, Mrs. Cora SPAYDE of Kansas City, Mo.; and W. R. HOCKING of Batavia; a sister Mrs. Josie GIBBS, Monmouth, Ill.; and three brothers, Rastus McDILL of Mangum, Okla.; Bert McDILL, Wichita Falls, Texas, and John McDILL, Sedalia, Mo.
