Mrs. Thomas J. HOCKING. Mary Emma McDILL, born Aledo, Ill., Aug. 10, 1855, died July 4, 1929 at Ottumwa Hospital, age 73-10-24. Married Sept. 30, 1873, to T. J. HOCKING of Batavia, in which community they have spent all of their married life.

Three children: Laura Etta, who died at age 18 mo.; Rollie HOCKING of Batavia, and Mrs. Cora SPAYDE of Kansas City.

Leaves husband, son and daughter above mentioned, and two grandchildren, Mrs. Marene KENNEDY of Augusta, Kan., and Gerald HOCKING of Batavia; one sister and three brothers: Mrs. D. R. GIBB of Monmouth, Ill.; E. L. McDILL of Mangum, Okla.; John McDILL of Sedalia, Mo., and Bert McDILL of Wichita Falls, Tex. Methodist Ch.
