Paul BISKEY of East Pleasant Plain is in a serious condition at his home, having suffered a stroke of paralysis yesterday afternoon. He is the grandfather of Mrs. Leonard GREENFIELD of this city and is well known here, having worked at the Dexter for thirteen years.

Paul BISKEY

Paul BISKEY, 78, of East Pleasant Plain, passed away this morning at 5:10 o'clock at his home. He is survived by his wife and six children.

Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 9:30 o'clock from the St. Joseph's Catholic church at East Pleasant Plain. Burial will be made in the cemetery nearby.

OBITUARY

PAUL BISKEY

Mr. Paul BISKEY passed away at his home in East Pleasant Plain November 3rd, 1930 at the age of 78 years, 10 months and 2 days (sic). Mr. BISKEY had been in failing health for the past year when he suffered a hemmorage (sic) of the brain causing paralysis. He was bedfast for nine days suffering intensely and everything that loving hands could do was of no avail.

Mr. BISKEY was born in Germany January 5th, 1852 and at the age of 21 years came to America and three years later was united in marriage to Winctina (sic) CHMIDEISKI (sic - CHMIELSKI). To this union nine children were born. One son Walter and two daughters, Tahel (sic - Takel?) and Mary preceeded him in death. He is survived by his wife and six children as follows: Mrs. John SHEMANSKI of Fairfield, Anthony of Downers Grove, Ill.; John of Milwaukee, Frank Egnus and Mrs. Sophia CAULFIELD of Chicago. Also one sister Mrs. Mary CHMOLIESHI (?) of Depew, New York. Twenty-five grand children and four great grand children.

Mr. BISKEY was a good faithful husband and father and a devout member of St. Joseph's Catholic church of East Pleasant Plain.

Services were held at St. Josephs church, November 8th with Rev. Sendbeuhler in charge. Interment in the cemetery nearby.

… Mr. John BISKEY and son George of Milwaukee were called here by the death of their father and grandfather, Paul BISKEY.

Mr. Anthony BISKEY of Downers Grove, Ill. left for his home Monday evening being called here by the death of his father, Paul BISKEY.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank BISKEY and Mrs. and Mrs. (sic) Ed BISKEY of Chicago returned home after being called here by the death of their father.

Mrs. Sophia CAULFIELD of Chicago was called here by the death of her father, Paul BISKEY.

Mr. and Mrs. Leonard GREENFIELD of Fairfield spent several days here during the illness and death of Mrs. GREENFIELD's grandfather...

MR. PAUL BISKEY died at his home at East Pleasant Plain Nov. 3 age 78-10-2. Born in Germany Jan. 5, 1852, and at the age of 21 came to this country and three years later married WINCTINA CHMIELESKI. Nine children: one son and two daughters preceded him in death, WALTER, TAKEL and MARY. Those left are his wife and six children: MRS. JOHN SHEMANSKI of Fairfield, Iowa; ANTHONY of Donners Grove, Ill.; JOHN of Chicago, Ill., and he also leaves one sister MRS. MARY CHMIELEISKI of Depew, N. Y., and 25 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Member St. Joseph’s church at E. Pleasant Plain….Interment in the cemetery nearby.
