MRS. ANDREW KESSEL died Fri. p.m. at the family home in Brighton, Iowa. MARY FRITZ was born in Germany Feb. 8, 1834; married at Burlington, Iowa over 50 years ago, later removing to a farm in Jefferson County where they spent an industrious life, moving to Brighton nine years ago. She is survived by the following children: MRS. WM. BERG of Pleasant Plain, JOSEPH KESSEL of Fairfield, ANDY KESSEL at the old home, MRS. WM. TROXEL of Burlington, and MISS BERTHA KESSEL at home.
