William MINEART of Brighton Is Dead

BRIGHTON, March 17 -- Funeral services for William MINEART, 79, will be held at 10 o'clock Monday morning at St. Joseph's church in East Pleasant Plain. Father Wetzstein will conduct the services and burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. The body will remain at the F. A. Hoskins funeral home in Brighton until time for the service.

Mr. MINEART died yesterday at the Jefferson county hospital, Fairfield, where he was taken Monday from West Burlington, where he had spent the winter with his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Charles HERR. Plans were to take him to the home of his nephew, Henry W. MINEART, as soon as the roads were more travelable.

He was born in Bontrop, West Salem, Germany, and when five years of age came with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William MINEART to Jefferson county. The family home for many years was two miles south of Brighton, and he spent his early life in the community. He was a railroad man by occupation and for many years his headquarters were at Potosi, Grant county, Wisc.

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. HERR of West Burlington and Mrs. Emma CRAEMER of Omaha, Nebr.; a number of nieces and nephews.
