Vincent MINEART Taken In Death

Vincent M. (sic - Vincent William) MINEART, 78, Brighton, died Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at the Jefferson County Hospital of a heart attack. He had been a patient in the hospital the past 11 days.

He was born March 10, 1886 in Jefferson county, son of Christian and Christina POHREN MINEART. He was married in April, 1910 to Nellie SUPALLA, who died in May, 1920. On Jan. 30, 1924 he was married to Elizabeth DONALDSON. MINEART was a Member of the KP lodge and the St. Joseph’s church at E. Pleasant Plain.

Surviving are wife and the following children: Mrs. Lucile GODWIN of Iowa City, Charles MINEART of Batavia, Howard MINEART of Pleasant Plain; Joe MINEART of Pleasant Plain and Mrs. Marion HUMESTON of Washington and Robert MINEART of Falls Church, Va.: two brothers, and four sisters: Henry MINEART of Washington and Clarence of Poplar Bluffs, Mo.; Mrs. Edgar ROTZINGER of Brighton, Mrs. Ernest JACOBS of Eldon; Mrs. Peter SCHMIDT of Milwaukee, Wis., and Mrs. Ray McCOY of Gardenia, Calif. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren.

Services will be held Friday, July 31 at 9 a.m., at St. Joseph's church in E. Pleasant Plain, with the Rev. Fr. Henry P. Geers in charge. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s cemetery. The rosary will be recited in the Gould Funeral home in Brighton on Thursday at 8 p.m.
