BATAVIA. Emery W. DRAKE, 71, found dead late Wed. afternoon at his home in Batavia where he lived alone. Natural causes. Campbell Funeral Chapel. Bur. Batavia Cemetery.

Born Oct. 12, 1898, at Batavia, son of William and Elvira KIMBLE DRAKE. Spent most of his life in the Batavia community. Veteran WWII.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Dale McMILLAN, Fairfield; one granddaughter; one sister, Mrs. Walter DOOLEY, Ottumwa; and a brother, Ollie DRAKE, Golden, Colo.
