BATAVIA--Mrs. Maude Helen DeGOOD, 87, a resident of the Batavia community for 75 years, died Tues. p.m. at the Kirk Nursing Home in Agency. Burial in Batavia Cemetery.

Born Oct. 3, 1876, in Belle Plains, Kan., dau. of George W. and Lavina WHITMORE WRIGHT; married Charles B. DeGOOD Jan. 1, 1892; he died Feb. 8, 1956. Batavia Christian Church.

Survived by children: Mrs. Bertha Hamilton, Batavia; Merle DeGOOD, Packwood; Harl DeGOOD, Batavia; and G.W. DeGOOD, Annaheim Calif.; five grandchildren; eight grgrchn and two grgrgrchn. Two brothers are deceased.
