Chester DAY, died yesterday in Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield. Burial at Batavia.

Born Aug. 23, 1890, near Martinsburg, son of George and Cora HAWK DAY; married Elsie May MILLER Oct. 6, 1912; moved to Jefferson County. Farmer. Member Christian Church, Martinsburg.

Survivors are wife, one son, Everett, Batavia; three brothers, Paul of Ottumwa; Kenneth, Ollie; Clarence, Rock Island; one sister, Mrs. D. L. SEEVERS, Loveland, Col., and six grandchildren.
