Spitler died Wednesday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Eugene Droz, about two miles south of the city…...Was one of the oldest residents of Jefferson county, being well up in the 80’s. He leaves to mourn his death his aged wife and adopted daughter, Mrs. Droz…..The remains will be taken to Birmingham to be laid by the side of his children, all of whom are dead…..
