BENJAMIN TEMPLETON DEAD. Benjamin Templeton, a man well known in this county, where he had lived for a quarter of a century, died at the home of J. H. Allender, a son-in-law, at Salina, on the 27th ult. Deceased was born in Washington County, Penn., and came to Iowa about 30 years ago. He settled near Glasgow, where he resided until about six years ago and reared a family. At that time he removed to Eddyville, returned to this county a few weeks previous to his death. He was in the 80th year of his age. His death resulted from asthma and heart disease.
