Frank ERICKSON, 76, died suddenly at 8 p.m. Sunday at his home, one and one-half miles south of Glendale.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Lutheran church at Lockridge in charge of Rev. Lundberg.
Mr. ERICKSON was born in Sweden Oct. 7, 1860 and came to the United States with his parents in 1869. He was preceded in death by his wife June 11, 1931, also one brother and one sister preceded him.
He is survived by three children: Mrs. Minnie SHARP and Mrs. Maud GUSTOFSON (sic - GUSTAFSON) of Lockridge and Edward ERICKSON at home, also one brother, W. O. ERICKSON of Denver, Colo.

Frank ERICKSON was born in Elfborgstan, Sweden the 7th day of October 1860 and quietly passed away Sunday evening Septe,ber 27, 1936 at the age of age 75 years, 11 months and 20 days.
He came to this country with his parents the 14th day of June 1869 and the remainder of his life was spent in Jefferson county with the exception of one year when the family resided in Kansas. He became a member of the Lutheran church of New Sweden by the rites of confirmation at the age of fifteen years, and was true to that faith. He was united in marriage to Anna Louise AIN Dec. 30, 1885 who passed to her eternal home June 11, 1931.
He is survived by three children Mrs. Minnie SHARPE, Mrs. Maud GUTAFSON (sic - GUSTAFSON) and Frank Edward at home. He also leaves four grandchildren, Harold Virgil Hazel and Dorothy GUSTAFSON and one brother William of Denver Colo., and two step-sisters Mrs. Albert LINQUIST and Mrs. Selma JOHNSON of Moline. He was preceded in death by one sister Margaret FREEBURG of Lindsborg Kan., one brother August and one granddaughter Marjorie GUSTAFSON who passed away in infancy. For the past thirty-eight years the family home has been one and one-half miles south of Glendale. He lived a devoted and qauiet life and was a kind, loving husband and father, a good neighbor, a kind friend being always considerate of others. Besides his grief stricken children he leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn his sudden departure. The tokwns of many beautiful flowers tell the high esteem that was held for him.
Funeral services were held at the Lutheran church in Lockridge conducted by Rev. Harry Lundberg. A quartet composed of Mrs. Tony Carlson, Mrs. Clarence Mickey, C. N. Mickey and Roy Linn sang the "Old Rugged Cross" and "In the Garden." Two grandsons Harold and Virgil GUSTAFSON sant "Some Time We'll Understand" with Mrs. Lundberg at the piano.
Pallbearers were Chris Leu Jenry Horton, Frank Johnson, Victor Johnson, Albert Anderson and Frank Engwall. He was laid to rest in the Upland Cemetery beside his wife, there to await the resurrection morn.
