Last rites for Noah A. ERICKSON, 86, longtime resident of Jefferson County, will be held Friday, at 11 a.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home.
ERICKSON died last Saturday in Riverside General Hospital, Riverside, Calif. He had made his home in Riverside for the past five years.
Services will be conducted by Rev. W. G. Loewen. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
ERICKSON was born Jan. 9, 1881 near Four Corners, the son of Charles and Lena RUPP ERICKSON. He was married to Mary M. HOSETTE (sic - HOSATTE) April 23, 1907.
ERICKSON helped erect the first telephone lines built in this county. For more than 50 years he operated a farm nine mines southeast of Fairfield.
Mr. and Mrs. ERICKSON observed their 60th wedding anniversary last April at the home of their son, Clarence, in Riverside.
Surviving are his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Truman BAILEY, Fairfield; and two sons, Reuben ERICKSON, Sturgeon, Mo.; and Clarence ERICKSON, Riverside, California.
Also surviving are six grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Nellie KELLER, Medford, Oregon. One daughter and three sisters are deceased.
ERICKSON was a 50-year member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
