Donald Dean Reighard, 74, of Fairfield died at 11:50 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2005 at Jefferson County Hospital.

A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Howard Innis officiating. Burial of his cremains will be at a later date.

Visitation will be from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to First Nazarene Church of Fairfield.

Mr. Reighard was born March 28, 1931, the son of Archer and Maggie Sinn Reighard. He married Regina Wymer Jan. 10, 1952, in Burlington. She died Aug. 16, 1996.

Mr. Reighard lived most of his life in the Fairfield area. He was employed at Iowa Malleable Iron Company in the annealed department.

Mr. Reighard was a member of First Nazarene Church.

He was a member of the Iowa National Guard for 24 years.

Survivors include three sisters, Eva Stever of Fairfield, Edna Manley of Fairfield and Wilda Graham of San Diego, Calif.; one brother, Cloyce Reighard of Burlington; one stepson, Donald Hubbs of Fairfield; and special friend, Trudy Perry of Fairfield.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Wilma Edwards.
