Terry L. Dodds, 53, of Lincoln, Neb., died Monday, Nov. 7, 2005.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at College View Seventh Day Adventist Church, in Lincoln, with the Rev. Keith Jacobson officiating. Burial will be in College View Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. today, with the family present from 6:30-8 p.m. at Roper and Sons, 4300 'O' St., Lincoln.

Mr. Dodds was born Aug. 26, 1952, in Fairfield, the son of John Barker and Elva Jean Haifley Dodds.

Mr. Dodds farmed for many years and became a self-employed painter and drywaller when he started Dodds Painting and Home Improvement. He also was the plant services director for Union College.

Mr. Dodds was a member of College View Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Survivors include his wife Sheryl; one daughter, Amy Bock and husband Nick; one son, Bryan Dodds and wife Jessie; three grandchildren; his parents, John and Jean Dodds, all of Lincoln; and two brothers, Larry Dodds of Granite Bay, Calif., and Ron Dodds of Lincoln.
