Page 3, Column 2MRS. LYDIA BUSH DIED HERE TODAY
Mrs. Lydia A. BUSH, one of the most highly respected residents of Jefferson county died this morning about five o'clock after an illness of some time with pneumonia. She ahd been in ill health for about three years and when a few days agos he was attacked with pneumonia her relatives felt that the end was near.
Mrs. BUSH was born May 5, 1839, in Orange, Penn., and came to this county in 1853. She was married to William H. BUSH in 1895 (sic - 1859), and they resided on a farm near here until death has called them both. Mr. BUSH died in 1887 (sic - 1897). When a young girl Mrs. BUSH united with the Dunkard church.
Surviving Mrs. BUSH are five children, Robert and Annette, who are at home, Mrs. Wm. GOSSICK and and Elza BUSH who live near here and Strilla who lives in Nedraska (sic).
The funeral will be held tomor morning (sic) at the home five miles miles (sic) north of the city at ten o'clock and the remains will be interred in Evergreen cemetery.

Husband died Dec 25 1897. Eight children, two died in infancy and Mary (sic - Harry) Newton at Gresham, Neb. Apr 12 1905. Remaining are Mrs. Wm GOSSICK, Strilla, Robert, Elza and Netta. Evergreen Cemetery.

Page 5, Column 2Mrs. Lydia BUSH died at her home north of town Friday after only a few days' illness with pneumonia. She had been a resident of this county for many years and had many friends.
Mrs. BUSH was born in Orange, Penn., May 5, 1836, and was married to William BUSH July 27, 1859. Mr. BUSH died Dec. 25, 1897. She is survived by five children: Mrs. Wm. GOSSICK and Elza BUSH who reside in the county, Strilla of Nebraska, and Robert and Annette at home.
Funeral services were held at the home Saturday morning at I0 o'clock and the body tenderly laid to rest in Evergreen cemetery.
