F. HILL dies at Bloomfield

BLOOMFIELD -- Frank E. HILL, 85, former resident of Fairfield, died Saturday at Bloomfield Manor in Bloomfield (note: in Davis Co., IA).

Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Priester Funeral Chapel in Bloomfield with the Rev. Don Slaughter officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield. Memorials to donor's choice.

HILL was an employee of the gas department, Iowa Electric Light and Power Co. in Fairfield until his retirement in 1962.

Frank E. HILL was born June 25, 1896, in Henry County, the son of Max Elmer and Julia FREEMAN HILL. He was married to Ola KOCH May 13, 1920 in Fairfield. She survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Betty HOUK, Bloomfield; a son, Raymond Glen, Lake Village, Ind.; three grandchildren; one brother, Raymond HILL, Sylivis, Ill.; and a sister, Grace TEETER, Cedar Rapids.
