Lucille L. Cole, 75, of Stockport, died at 7:07 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2005, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Dean Kuster officiating. Burial will be in Pittsburg Cemetery, west of Keosauqua.

Open visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday and continue until the funeral begins. Memorials to the family may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 23427 Highway 16, Keosauqua 52565.

Mrs. Cole was born June 24, 1930, in Fall River, Kan., the daughter of Roy and Marie Blinn Donart. She married Alvin Jenkins. They divorced. She married Raymond F. "Red" Cole Dec. 23, 1978, in Cantril. He died July 12, 1987.

Mrs. Cole graduated from Princeton High School when she lived in Kansas. She moved to Richland in 1969, to Van Buren County in 1978, and to Stockport in 1992. She was a homemaker and worked as a nurse's aide in Kansas and Parkview Care Center and did home health care as well.

She was a member of the Stockport Christian Church.

Survivors include four sons, Ernie Jenkins of Des Moines, David Jenkins of Wyaconda, Mo., Thomas Jenkins of Keosauqua, and Timothy Jenkins of Weldon; two daughters, Katie Daley of Fairfield and Betty Lockwood of Winlock, Wash.; one stepdaughter, Roiann Louise Thomas of Keosauqua; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, C.R. Donart and one sister, Arliss Holdeman, both of Kansas.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one son, William Jenkins; and one sister, Jean.
