Victor J. "Bub" Mallinger, Jr., 42, of Fairfield, died in a one-car accident Friday, Oct. 21, 2005, on J-16, west of Stockport.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Memorial Lawn Cemetery, with the Rev. Danny Cary officiating.

At the family's request, no visitation is planned. The family also requests no flowers and asks that memorials be made to the Mallinger family.

Behner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Mallinger was born Jan. 14, 1963, the son of Victor J. Mallinger Sr. and Violet L. "Vicky" Hoage Mallinger. He married Lisa Tedrow in November of 1984. They later divorced.

Mr. Mallinger graduated from Fairfield High School in 1981. He worked at Cook's Transfer, Fairfield Glove, Garrison Construction and The Dexter Company for approximately 18 years. His pastimes included watching NASCAR races and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his mother; two sons, Royce and Dustin Mallinger; and one sister, Theresa.

His father, grandparents and great-grandparents preceded him in death.
