Michael Douglas Roe, 27, of Fairfield died at 2:23 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, 2005, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City from injuries received from an accident Friday evening near Stockport.

The funeral is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jim Wotherspoon officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Raymond Funeral Home.

A memorial has been established to Mr. Roe's children, Katie and Anthony "A.J."

Mr. Roe was born July 15, 1978, in Fairfield, the son of Michael W. and Maria Adams Roe. He married Jenifer Muntz Dec. 31, 1999, in Fairfield. They divorced after five years of marriage.

A lifetime resident of Fairfield, he was a 1997 graduate of Fairfield High School. He attended First Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Survivors include two children, Katie and Anthony "A.J." Roe and their mother Jenifer Roe of Fairfield; his father and stepmother, Michael W. and Cheryl Roe of Fairfield; one brother, Christopher G. Roe of Fairfield; grandmother Billie Turner of Fairfield; and grandparents Ralph and Jodee Roe of Fairfield.
