Andrew HENRY Taken In Death

Andrew William HENRY, 79, retired farmer and livestock shipper, died at 5 a.m. today at the Washington county hospital where had been a patient for the past three weeks. He had been in failing health for some time.

Last rites will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the Raymond funeral home with the Rev. Francis Henricksen officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Andrew William HENRY was born Jan. 22, 1883, in Keokuk county near Keota. He was the son of John and Barbara HORNING HENRY. He was reared and educated in Keokuk county.

On Jan. 24, 1905, he was united in marriage to Katherine LAHR. He had made his home in Jefferson county for the past 46 years, farming and shipping livestock from East Pleasant Plain for a number of years. His address is rural route 2, Fairfield.

He was preceded in death by his wife who died March 5, 1959, his parents and one brother.

Survivors include two sons, Clarence of St. Louis, George of Chicago; two daughters, Mrs. Eugene KASKA, Fairfield, and Mrs. Clem EAGLE, Washington; also 16 grandchildren; two brothers, John and Lee HENRY, both of Keota; and a sister, Mrs. Maude WALTON, Iowa City.

NOTICE OF PROBATE OF WILL IN DISTRICT COURT

State of Iowa
Jefferson County, ss.

To All Whom It May Concern:

You Are Hereby Notified, That an instrument of writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Andrew W. HENRY, deceased, dated September 7, 1961 having been this day filed, open and read, Thursday the 10th day of January, 1963, is fixed for hearing proof of same at the Court House in Fairfield, Iowa, before the District Court of said County, or the Clerk of said Court, and at 9:30 o'clock a.m. of the day above mentioned all persons interested are hereby notified and required to appear, and show cause, if any they have, why said instrument should not be probated and allowed as and for the last Will and Testament of said deceased.
