Ethel M. HEDGE (sic) taken in death

Ethel M. HEDGE, 93, Rural Route 4, died at 1:10 p.m. Saturday at the Nelson Nursing Home.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Clair Odell officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. this evening at the funeral home.

Ethel M. HEDGE was born Jan. 21, 1889 (sic - 1890), in the Salina Community. She was the daughter of George E. and Margaret DALLNER LONDQUIST. She was married Feb. 25, 1920, to Charles W. HEDGE in Ottumwa. He died Dec. 8, 1976.

Survivors include two nephews, Gerald and Donald LONDQUIST, Fairfield.

Mrs. HEDGE was a lifetime resident of Jefferson County. Before her marriage she was a rural school teacher for 10 years in Jefferson County. She is affiliated with the Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a brother.

JEFFERSON COUNTY

IN THE MATTER OF THE ESTATE OF ETHEL HEDGE, DECEASED.

TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE ESTATE OF ETHEL HEDGE, DECEASED:

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT ON THE 30TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1982, THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF ETHEL HEDGE, DECEASED, BEARING DATE OF THE 30TH DAY OF MAY, 1975, AND 1ST, 2ND AND 3RD CODICILS, DATED DECEMBER 14, 1976, AUGUST 18, 1977 and JANUARY 18, 1979 RESPECTIVELY WAS ADMITTED TO PROBATE IN THE ABOVE NAMED COURT AND THAT FIRST NATIONAL BANK IN FAIRFIELD, IOWA AND GERALD LONDQUIST WERE APPOINTED CO-EXECTUORS OF SAID ESTATE.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ANY ACTION TO SET ASIDE SAID WILL MUST BE BROUGHT IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF SAID COUNTY WITHIN SIX MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE, OR THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ALL PERSONS INDEBTED TO SAID ESTATE ARE REQUESTED TO MAKE IMMEDIATE PAYMENT TO THE UNDERSIGNED, AND CREDITORS HAVING CLAIMS AGAINST SAID ESTATE SHALL FILE THEM WITH THE CLERK OF THE ABOVE NAMED DISTRICT COURT, AS PROVIDED BY LAW, DULY AUTHENTICATED, FOR ALLOWANCE; AND UNLESS SO FILED WITHIN SIX MONTHS FROM THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE (UNLESS OTHERWISE ALLOWED OR PAID) SUCH CLAIM SHALL THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.
