HEATER Dies In Florida

Clyde HEATER, 75, 702 S. Second, died Friday night at St. Petersburg, Fla., following a heart attack sometime ago. He and Mrs. HEATER spend the winters in Florida.

The body is being returned to the Raymond Funeral Home where last rites are pending.

C. HEATER Rites Set

Services for Clyde A. HEATER, 75, will be Wednesday, April 28, at 2 p.m. at the First Christian Church with the Rev. Ed Dorman officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

HEATER died at 11:25 p.m. Friday at St. Anthony Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fla., where he had been a patient since March 30 following a heart attack.

He and Mrs. HEATER had been spending the winter in Florida. The family home is at 702 S. Second.

The casket is scheduled to arrive at the Raymond Funeral Home late his evening and will be taken to the church at noon Wednesday. Members of the family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

Clyde A. HEATER was born June 27, 1900, in Henry County, the son of Charles and Cora MURPHY HEATER. He was reared and educated in Henry County and farmed his entire life. He moved to the Fairfield Community in 1943.

A member of the First Christian Church, he was married to Ruth KITCH who preceded him in death. He was married to Jessie EDWARDS Jan. 16, 1933, in Macon, Mo., who survives. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

In addition to his widow, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Gene PEEBLER, Riverdale, Md., and Mrs. Ernest SEIBERT, Stockton, Calif.; one son, Richard, Keosauqua.

Also two sisters, Mrs. Gladys SUMMERS, New London, and Mrs. Ruth WASSON, Burlington; and one brother, Dallas, Mount Pleasant.
