Anita Lorraine Bonar
October 21, 2005Anita Lorraine Bonar, 75, of Tipton, died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Mo.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington, with the Rev. Michael Metz officiating.

Mrs. Bonar was born Sept. 25, 1930, in Ottumwa, the daughter of Lorraine and Anna Margaret McKasson Rutherford. She married Ervin Carl Bonar in July of 1947 and again in April 1978. He died July 4, 1995.
Mrs. Bonar graduated from New London High School. She worked in a variety of jobs around Fairfield and Muscatine. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Star. When she was younger, her hobbies included ceramics, crocheting, flower gardening and spending time with her family.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald Carl and his wife Melody of Versailles and Gary Lorraine and his wife Ruth of Birmingham; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth Rutherford of Canton, Mo., and David Rutherford of West Des Moines; and four sisters, Theda Kay Grinnell of Las Vegas, Nev., Zelda Jackson of Fillmore, Utah, Marcia Moreland of Lincoln, Neb., and Carol Lynn Taulker of Las Vegas, Nev.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by one son, Alan Lee Bonar; her parents; one sister, Burrietta; and three brothers, DeWayne, Wendel and Jerry.
