Nancy Kay LONDQUIST

Nancy Kay LONDQUIST, 56, of Kansas City, Mo., formerly of Fairfield, died at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005, in Kansas City.

A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Evergreen Cemetery, with the Rev. Dave Peterson officiating.

Family visitation will be from 9:30-10 a.m. preceding the graveside service at Behner Funeral Home. Friends may sign the book of condolence from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the donor's choice.

Ms. LONDQUIST was born Feb. 16, 1949, in Fairfield, the daughter of Gerald E. and Virginia Mae CHACEY LONDQUIST.

Ms. LONDQUIST grew up in Fairfield and graduated from Fairfield High School in 1967. She lived in Newton while working for United Telephone and had made her home in Kansas City for the past 15 years where she was a records keeper for Sprint.

Her hobbies included caring for cats, designing and stamping greeting cards, attending flea markets and garage sales and wearing hats.

Survivors include her mother of Fairfield; and two brothers, Jerry LONDQUIST of Burlington and Tom LONDQUIST of Cedar Rapids.

She was preceded in death by her father.
