Of a bright and happy disposition she made friends easily and was greatly beloved by a large circle of friends and relatives. Her death coming as it does after such a short illness has brought sadness to many homes in this city.

From Monday's Daily.
..Died---Mary Evelyn, the three-year-old little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne HARRIS, 107 East Kirkwood street, died this afternoon about 4:14 o'clock, inflammation of the lining of the intestines being the cause of death. The little girl became ill last Tuesday night about 12:00 o'clock and had shown no improvement since. This morning hopes of saving her life had been given up, and she passed away this afternoon.
Mary Evelyn was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. HARRIS, a pet of the household, and loved by everyone who knew her. Her loss is a terrible blow to the young parents and to her grandmothers and aunts with whom she lived, and the most sincere sympathy goes out to them from their many friends.
Arrangements for the funeral have not yet been made.
