Page 8, Column 1Mrs. Emma E. HARPER Dies In Davenport
Funeral services for Mrs. Emma E. HARPER, former Fairfield resident, will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Hoskins Funeral home in charge of the Rev. S. P. Williamson.
Mrs. HARPER died suddenly this morning at her home in Davenport (note: in Scott Co., IA). She was born March 15, 1897 at Keosauqua, the daughter of James and Mary HULL. She was married to George HARPER November 29, 1916 and had lived in Davenport since 1917.
She is survived by her husband and the following sisters and brother: Mrs. Maggie HARPER, Davenport; Mrs. Fern CASH, Mrs. Alice GIVENS, both of Ottumwa; Mrs. Carrie THOMAS, Fairfield, and Chester HULL, Ottumwa.
Two sons preceded her in death. Burial plans are incomplete.
