Death came early this morning to Mrs. Nova E. HARPER, Jefferson county resident who became seriously ill last night.
She fell in her home near Parsonsville last Sunday, and suffered a hemorrhage last night. She was rushed to the hospital by ambulance and passed away enroute about 2:50 a.m. today.
Last rites will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Hoskins funeral home with Rev. S. P. Williamson in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Ethel Eliza Jane HARPER, 42, was born February 10, 1908, in Missouri, the daughter of James W. and Eliza BREEDING HINES. She was united in marriage in May, 1931, to Nova E. HARPER who survives.
She had lived in this community for the past 26 years, and in recent years the family lived seven miles east of Fairfield at Parsonsville.
Besides her husband, she is survived by 10 children: Mrs. Ralph CLARK, Fairfield; Hubert Dean HARPER, at home; Mrs. Rex NELSON, Fairfield; and Nova, Jr., Lester, Wetsal, Lucy Jane, Gloria, Helen and Judy, all at home.
She is also survived by two grandchildren, her father, James W. HINES, and a brother, Artie M. HINES, all of Fairfield.
Mrs. HARPER was preceded in death by her mother and three children.
