George HANSEN Dies Of Injuries

George HANSEN, 41, former Fairfield resident, died Saturday at St. Luke's Hospital in Davenport after he was injured in a plant accident two weeks ago (note: in Scott Co., IA).

HANSEN resided at 704 Brown St., Bettendorf. Last rites will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. Gene Crossett. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

HANSEN was an employe of the Aluminum Company of America. He had worked at the Bettendorf plant since 1951. He suffered serious injuries when he was caught between two loads of Aluminum plate as the material was being moved by an overhead crane.

HANSEN was born Dec. 20, 1924 in Fairfield, the son of George and Ruby KIMMEL HANSEN. He was married to Rose DOUGHERTY June 10, 1951.

Surviving are his widow and three daughters, Cynthia, Sharon and Lynette. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Ruby HANSEN, Fairfield; two sisters, Mrs. George RAMBO, Baraboo, Wis., and Mrs. Max MASSENGILL, Anderson, Ind.; and one brother, Donald L. HANSEN, Washington.

He was preceded in death by his father.
