DEATHS

Mrs. Bessie HANSEN

Mrs. Bessie HANSEN, 503 North C street, passed away yesterday afternoon at 2:40 0'clock at the University hospital in Iowa City where she had been a patient since March 3 (note: in Johnson Co., IA).

The funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the Hoskins funeral home. Friends of the family are invited. Friends may call there any time tomorrow and up to noon Monday to view the body.

Mrs. HANSEN was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. T. HARRIS, both of whom are deceased. She was born and reared in this city. For a number of years she has had charge of the altering department in the Gobble and Heer clothing store. Her husband Henry HANSEN passed away several years ago. She is survived by a brother and three sisters: T. W. HARRIS of Upland, Calif., Mrs. H. E. HEFLIN of Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. W. A. BROWN and Miss Margaret HARRIS of this city.

The Gobble & Heer store will be closed Monday afternoon during the funeral service of Mrs. Bessie HANSEN, who has been a member of the store force for many years.

Mrs. Bessie HANSEN.

The last rites for Mrs. Bessie HANSEN, who died Friday afternoon, were held yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the Hoskins funeral home. The Christian Science services were conducted by Mrs. Roy Louden, Mrs. Edward C. Peterke played the musical selections on the piano.

The casket attendants were Dr. Chester Fordyce, L. E. Clinkenbeard, A. G. Jordan, Frank Pierson, Charles H. Heer and Edward C. Peterke. Many beautiful floral offerings silently testified as to the esteem in which Mrs. HANSEN was held by her many friends. Interment was in Evergreen cemetery.

State of Iowa, Jefferson County, ss.

To All Whom It May Concern:

Notice is hereby given that an instrument, purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Elizabeth HANSEN, Deceased, is now on file in the office of the Clerk of the District Court of Jefferson county, and that Friday, May 9th, A. D. 1930 at 2 oclock p.m., has been set for proof and final hearing of same.

Witness my hand and the seal of said court this 14th day of April, 1930.
